Cool Kids in the Zone

CSSN has recently released an exciting new anti-bullying resource for K-2 students entitled Cool Kids in the Zone. This new program (available in DVD or VHS format) features four delightful characters and depicts a scenario for each of the following values :

1.	RESPECT: Play Fair, Play Safe
2.	KINDNESS: There’s Always Room For One More - Invite Other Children to Play
3.	HONESTY: Ask before you take - Don’t take something that doesn’t belong to you
4.	CO-OPERATION: Two is more fun than one
5.	EMPATHY: Name-calling hurts - only call people by their name

Sing-a-long songs, stories, handpuppets, posters and teacher support materials will make it a fun and entertaining learning package for both the teacher and the students.

A French language version, Enfants Cool dans la Zone, is also available.

This resource will help children develop skills and attitudes that promote non-violent behaviour. By actively engaging them, children will learn important values and skills necessary for positive interactions with others.
