Toronto Marlies "In the Crease" Program

In partnership with the Canadian Safe School Network, the Toronto Marlies Hockey Club has created their first ever community program entitled "In the Crease". It has been developed to aid in the reduction of youth violence and raise awareness of the importance of maintaining a safe community.

Program components include:

 1. A Safe Schools Game Day on November 28, 2007 at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto
Eight thousand students from across the GTA will fill Ricoh Coliseum to see the Toronto Marlies play the Rochester Americans in a "Safe Schools" themed game day. Messages from players, special activities and the chance to watch the Marlies play their first game will make this day unique! Group tickets are available for $10 each. In addition, each school that registers for the game, will recieve a free Safe Schools teacher’s guide and be eligible for the opportunity to have a player and mascot visit their school.

For more information contact Jason Watkins at the Toronto Marlies at 416-263-3907.
