Margaret Trudeau - Celebrated Canadian & Mental Health Advocate
Margaret Trudeau became the youngest Prime Minister’s wife in Canadian history, when she married Pierre Elliot Trudeau at the age of 22. She has led a rich and interesting life, raising five children and travelling the country and the world extensively.
Trudeau has authored three books, including her latest, Changing My Mind, which has topped the best selling charts. Margaret discusses with candour and insight the bi-polar condition she has struggled with all her life and shares her journey of recovery, acceptance and hope with the wish that others suffering will reach out and get the help they need.
Dr. Stanley Kutcher - Sun Life Chair in Adolescent Mental Health, Dalhousie University
Dr. Kutcher is an internationally-renowned expert in the area of adolescent mental health and a national and international leader in mental health research, advocacy, training, policy, and health services innovation. Dr. Kutcher uses his considerable expertise to advance the work of the Sun Life Financial Chair in Adolescent Mental Health, building awareness and knowledge about mental health in young people through the development of programs that address adolescent mental health promotion, education and research, locally, nationally and internationally.

The conference is located at The International Centre, 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga, on the northeast corner of Airport and Derry Roads, and approximately 3 kilometres from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

REGISTRATION FEE
$299/person (before January 20, 2012)
$329/person (after January 20, 2012)
Includes parking, breakfast, lunch, workshops, networking breaks and conference materials. Payment is required in advance.
We will attempt to meet the request of every attendee in terms of workshop choices, but encourage you to register early in order to ensure availability in the workshops of your choice. Workshops will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Canadian Safe School Network (CSSN) may be recording portions of the conference for future archival use.
Please note your registration is not considered officially confirmed until we receive payment. The email address provided will be used to send you confirmation of your registration and receipt of payment.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be received in writing by February 10th, 2012. You will receive a refund less a $25.00 administration fee. If you register for the program and do not attend, you are liable for the full registration fee unless you cancel according to the terms stated above. Delegate substitution is always permitted.
