Ben is the Capacity Building Manager for the Canadian Safe School Network. He actively engages in procuring sponsorships and donations from new corporate partners which allows CSSN to continue producing resources and programs that help foster our mandate to reduce youth violence in schools and communities.

Ben graduated from Carleton University in 2005 and has a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law and a minor in Psychology. He worked for the Ministry of the Attorney General as a Criminal Courtroom Registrar where he learned first hand about youth violence and the detrimental effect is has on peers, family and friends. Before and after that position with the courts he worked for a production company that produce community based festivals, events and concerts where he excelled in logistical production, sales, marketing and fundraising. Ben was drawn to CSSN because it has allowed him to combine his previous work experiences and educational background to continue the great work that CSSN does.
